May is hitting with full force. Does anyone else have one of those months where you're booked solid for every weekend? It started this weekend with my nephew's birthday party Friday night and my God-daughter's birthday party Saturday afternoon followed by a Cinco de Mayo get together. Weekend would have been so much better if my younger daughter hadn't woken up with the flu early (I'm talking 1am early) Saturday morning. She seems to be recovering now but the poor girl missed out on the Saturday birthday party which she looks forward to every year because there's always pony rides and a petting Zoo.

Next weekend isn't much better. BFF's husband (God-daughter's father) is turning 35 so there will be big celebration for him all day Saturday. Then comes Sunday which as we all know is Mother's day but it's also my father's 70th Birthday. Let's just say it's another weekend my house will not get cleaned. Of course I'll have to clean throughout the week because the following Saturday my little princess will be turning 9! God, that makes me feel old. Needless to say during all the other birthday chaos I will be planning an afternoon Garden Fairy party.

Am I done yet? Unfortunately not. The weekend of the 26th my husband's grandmother will be turning 90 so of course there has to be a party! This will probably result in an overnight stay seeing as my in-laws live about 2 hours away and we don't make it there very often. I get along with my husband's family extremely well. They're all wonderful people but I hate sleeping at other people's houses.

Keep your fingers crossed that I make it through the month. I might have to take some time off of work just to get things done.
